Our ancient tradition since the 1960s.

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. [...] The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some 50 miles of concrete highway. We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people." - Eisenhower

Tanks fired, then people died. How many were killed directly? Any? Did people die in a panic stampede? The headline is misleading by omission, even while speaking basic facts. I suspect people were killed directly by the IDF, but can I support that with this headline? No.

The headline is making the reader commit a 'post hoc ergo propter hoc' logical fallacy to get there. A weaselly headline like that gives cover to those who want to interpret events as the IDF not causing the deaths.

Just don't flush them after

Like "recyclable" plastic.

Oh, the taxpayers will still pay for it. It will just never be built.

It's good to see the tide turn.
Not everyone was disgusted with Israel's actions before, and some of these people are just blowing in the political wind.
