  • France is deep in public debt ( if they weren't in the EU, the world bank and IMF would have already stepped on the breaks) yet still makes the stupid 5% promise because that's what it is: a statement towards Russia.

  • I agree with the sentiment but can't help myself imagining that the AFD now has proof that " The German deep state is against them" and other " democracy is not there anymore". I'm afraid these actions just gives them fuel and countries should resolve what causes those parties to gain momentum in the first place: fight against corporate criminal attitude, fight against smaller everyday offenses and promote how law abiding foreigners are the big majority and maybe go lighter on the publicity of other affirmative actions, but still do them of course.

  • A strategy with a lack of thinking. You blow up st Petersbourg, you get nuclear fire back. If you keep the country occupied with another country, just enough to bleed Russia out, at best you might not even need to intervene militarily, the Russians will take care of their own. At worse you will face a severely diminished foe while you had time to prepare.

  • Isn't France about to recognise the Palestinian state? And isn't there a current crisis between France and Israel over what is happening with strong words from Macron to qualify what Israel is doing?

  • Too tired to read the Nth post saying " country B is doing worse than country A!"

Doesn't take away how shity country A is...

Maybe the fact country A and country B have abandonned the idea that republics exist for the many to enjoy living in and not the few at the top can explain things.
