Not an English native speaker so this is probably on me, but I find it weird to call it a fertility decline. Like, fertility of people is probably going down but the reasons people don't have more kids are purely economical, as the article also says.
For me a better descriptor would be something like birthing rate or whatever. Fertility decline sounds to me like people are really at it like rabbits and just cannot get any pregnancies.
What times are we living in that people need to discuss the wealth of a random dying person via snippets of random news articles to establish whether or not it is sad they died.
Sorry, I find that disgusting. In a case of a very public person, sure. In this case, nope.
Both sides attacked each other "just ahead of peace talks". Headline makes it sound like Ukraine is the aggressor here. Also to remind, it is the second round of peace talks. The first one Putin didn't even think to attend while Zelensky was ready to. As well right after or before the first round Russia also did some nasty attacks. As probably did Ukraine. It's a war after all.
